Three female Indian neurosurgeons from Brigham and Women's Hospital in Massachusetts have filed sex discrimination complaints against the department chair, Dr. Arthur Day.
According to the suit, Day denied Dr. Sagun Tuli, an assistant professor at Harvard, promotions and made demeaning statements to her while she was working. In the middle of a surgical procedure last spring, Day allegedly asked Tuli, "You are just a girl. Are you sure you can do that?"
