On November 15 at a little after 6:00 a.m., a Pulaski County, Missouri. deputy was racing to the aid of a couple who had just tackled and apprehended a 15-year-old boy armed with a baseball bat who had broken into their mobile home. As the officer rushed to the residence, he saw a silver vehicle that matched the description of one involved in a violent robbery less than three hours earlier. Making a split-second decision, he turned the cruiser around and pursued the silver vehicle. He pulled over the vehicle. Inside the car was 26-year-old Michael Hohmes, a computer that matched the description of one stolen in the earlier robbery, and a pellet pistol. The deputy had nabbed the bad guy, or at least one of them--who just so happened to be involved in the second break-in as well.
