If your house has a dark nook with no hardwired lighting, you might have been intrigued by ads for the Westinghouse Stick-Up Bulb 2670, which is powered by four AA batteries and attaches to any surface with double-sided adhesive or two screws. It's sold online at www.stickupbulb.com and www.asseenontv.com, and at stores including Walgreen's. You'll pay $10 (plus shipping) for a package including adhesive, screws, a pull cord, and an extra krypton bulb, but no batteries. The inner bulb is like a flashlight's; the bulblike cover is plastic.
