If you're a crazed lunatic who wishes to die in a lake of blood so that the news media will give you a memorable send-off, it is easy to do. You find a target-rich environment with the most defenseless victims available to make sure that you kill lots of helpless people before you can be stopped. The result: the numerous school killings around the world.
No one at most schools can fight back because they are in gun-free zones. Those who have died as a result have run the gamut from elementary school kids to college kids. After the Virginia Tech shooting, where 32 innocent victims were killed, a movement arose on college campuses to overturn rules mandating that everyone on campuses be unarmed.
