BROOMFIELD, Colo., Jan. 21 (UPI) -- Parents of Aspen Creek K-8 students sentenced to 15 hours of community service in Broomfield, Colo., for a food fight have called the punishment too severe.

School officials would not comment on the punishment, but several parents have revealed that their children were sentenced to community service on top of writing essays and cleaning the lunchroom, the Boulder Daily Camera reported.
