January 17-20. New York, NY. THE AMERICAN ANTIQUES SHOW (TAAS). A benefit for the American Folk Art Museum. The seventh annual presentation of The American Antiques Show will take place January 17-20 with an opening night gala on Wednesday evening January 16, from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Chelsea. The show kicks off Americana Week in New York City and features 45 of the country's finest Americana and folk art dealers. This eagerly anticipated show is a major fund-raising event for the American Folk Art Museum. All proceeds from the show and related events benefit the museum's educational and exhibition programs.
