Greater Atlanta Area Support Group.(Chapter and Support Group News: from Around the Country)(Brief article)
On Sept. 23 we held our annual IAAD Picnic at Lake Lanier and about 25 people attended to celebrate and be together. We cooked hot dogs and hamburgers and everyone brought a side dish and a dessert. Needless to say there was plenty of food and the day was beautiful. We also had a few new members come.
On Nov. 3 we held our last meeting of the year. At this meeting Dr. Chip Wilmot gave everyone an update on the current ataxia trials and introduced his new assistant, Cathy Wood-Siverio. She replaces Sue Gronka, who moved to Florida.
Greg Rook, Lynn Robinette and Dave Zilles were re-elected to be the officers for 2008 and we established our meeting plan for …
