Los Angeles-Colony Capital LLC said that Richard D. Nanula has joined the firm as a principal.
He will take on a senior role in all firm activities worldwide, with a special focus on existing and future operating company transactions.
Mr. Nanula most recently served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Amgen Inc. and prior to joining Amgen served as president and chief operating officer for Starwood Hotels and Resorts in New York.
San Francisco-Capmark Finance Inc. has hired Jimmy Yoo as a senior asset manager in its global servicing division.
Mr. Yoo most recently served as a vice president and commercial mortgage regional underwriter at Wells Fargo Bank.
Earlier in his career, he was employed by Capmark Finance as one of the first asset managers to work on the company's special servicing portfolio, and also served as a loan and REO asset manager at Capmark Finance for more than five years.
