OUP stacks its e-books on OCLC's shelves

Laura Smith

A range of e-book titles published by Oxford University Press (OUP) is to be made available to libraries worldwide as a result of a deal OUP has struck with non-profit library service OCLC NetLibrary.

The titles, previously only available digitally through OUP's Oxford Scholarship Online product (OSO), will now be on sale through the NetLibrary platform, which is used by more than 15,000 libraries around the world.

OUP's growing e-book collection includes English, French, Spanish and German dictionaries and medical texts.

The collection also features more than 60 titles from the OUP reference series in fields including business, history, literature, religion, law, science and mathematics.
