Weather Channel founder calls global warming a scam.(Inside Track)

Thousands of government officials, journalists, and representatives of environmental non-governmental organizations from more than 180 nations gathered on the Indonesian island of Bali on December 3 to kick off a 12-day United Nations-sponsored conference on global climate change. Among the chief aims of the summit are to establish a global UN-administered fund (with the alleged purpose of helping countries affected by climate change) and to finalize a "road map" toward a new agreement on greenhouse gas emissions to replace the Kyoto Protocol, which expires in 2012.

The United States, which is the only industrialized nation that has not signed the Kyoto agreement, has been painted as the chief global-warming villain by "green" activists and their media and UN supporters, who claim that there is overwhelming scientific consensus that human-caused emissions must be drastically limited to avert an imminent global catastrophe.
