VIETNAM'S TECHCOMBANK INKS PACIFIC AIRLINES DEAL.

HANOI, Jan 1 Asia Pulse - The Technological and Commercial Bank of Vietnam (Techcombank) on December 28 inked a deal to provide payment services for customers of Pacific Airlines.

Customers can pay for tickets via Techcombank transaction points or with Techcombank cards without having to go to the airport. The service will come into effect tomorrow.

The deal was the first step in developing e-commerce in the aviation sector of the bank, General Director of Techcombank Nguyen Duc Vinh said.

Pacific Airlines is using e-commerce voluntarily. We hope the deal will help us speed up development.
