NEW DELHI, Jan 1 Asia Pulse - Indonesia's anti-dumping authority has recommended imposition of dumping duties against five countries, including India, for shipping hot rolled coils to that country after complaints by local steel makers.
"Indonesia's Anti Dumping Committee (KADI), in its final report on the anti-dumping investigation against hot rolled coil imports from five countries, has recommended the imposition of dumping duties of up to 56.51 per cent," the Steel Business Briefing (SBB) reported, quoting a Jakarta-based industry source.
The report recommends dumping margins against imports from China of 0-42.58 per cent, India 12.95-56.51 per cent, Russia 5.58-49.47 per cent, Taiwan 0-53.39 per cent and Thailand 7.52-49.61 per cent.
The recommended duties will now be put under the purview of Indonesia's Ministry of Finance for a final determination.
