NEW DELHI, Jan 1 Asia Pulse - B K Modi-led mobile operator Spice Communications Ltd (BSE:532863) has warned the Indian government against manipulating the priority list when allocating spectrum and demanded the issuance of licences to their company immediately.
Spice also offered to make payment for entry fees against the issuance of Letters of Intent (LoIs) for 20 circles, the company's joint managing director Umang Das said in a letter to the Department of Telecom.
The company had applied for licenses in 20 circles in August 2006. He said as per official procedure, LoIs should be issued within 30 days of submission of applications. But these letters have not been awarded until now.
