TAIPEI, Jan 1 Asia Pulse - A decision will be made at the end of January on whether or not to maintain the current price levels for domestic gasoline through February, said Steve R.L. Chen, Taiwan's Minister of Economic Affairs, Monday.
Gasoline prices in the country have been frozen since Nov. 2 when they were adjusted upwards using a floating pricing mechanism, with the prices of all grades of the state-run CPC Corp., Taiwan's unleaded gasoline, rising to over NT$30 (US$0.92 cents) per litre.
