Hasbro has recalled 1 million Easy-Bake ovens, asking customers to stop using them immediately and return them to the company because of the risk of burns.
Hasbro issued a recall in February, offering a free retrofit kit to eliminate the risk. But since then the company has received 249 reports of children catching their hands or fingers in the oven, including 77 reports of burns. The ovens were sold at major retailers from May 2006 through July 2007 for $25. You can get more information from Hasbro at 800-6018418 or at www.easybake.com.
