The nation's working poor are shouldering the heaviest medical costs, a recent Commonwealth Fund study shows.
The report, funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, uses data from the 2003 Community Tracking Study Household Survey, which measured the financial burden of medical costs in 60 randomly selected communities.
