Towson University is ending an admissions program designed to attract male students by accepting applicants with low grades but high SAT scores.
As reported by WIHE in December 2006, students in Academic Special Admissions Program (ASAP) met with an advisor regularly, attended two study halls per week and maintained a 2.0 GPA. Men were 85% of the participants.
