Dr. Amy Gutmann will be staying on as the president of the University of Pennsylvania at least until 2014. Gutmann became president in 2004 and recently accepted a contract extension from the board of trustees.
The announcement coincides with the beginning of Penn's five-year, $3.5 billion fund raising campaign.
