Medical experts to discuss prevention of childhood pneumonia Chandran Iyer Seoul (South Korea), Dec 12 (PTI) -- Medical experts from over 20 Asia-Pacific countries are meeting here tomorrow to chalk out a strategy to control childhood pneumonia, considered the first cause of children's death in developing nations including India.
Hosted by the International Vaccination Institute, the two-day symposium will bring together leading experts, policy makers, decision makers and opinion leaders from more than 20 countries in Asia Pacific to address the problem and propose solutions to reduce incidence of pneumococcal disease (PD) in the region.
