There may be times in certain people's lives where a little bit of anger can be a valuable emotion. A boxer who feels a hint of anger for his opponent may perform better than one who just wants to hug the guy in the opposite corner. A local resident angered by a personal injustice perpetrated by an ill-conceived government program may be more motivated to act. And a credit professional that gets angry with a delinquent customer may be more likely to get paid than one who reacts calmly. Right?
