SUVA, Dec 3 Asia Pulse - The licence for Channel 2 Fiji Ltd to provide a free-to-air service has been suspended, reports The Fiji Times.
Fiji's Interim Commerce Minister Taito Waradi said the licence was suspended as a result of a breach of conditions.
"I have instructed an officer to investigate the matter and compile a report on the investigation," he said.
Mr Waradi said any further comments on the matter would be made after the completion of the investigation. Several attempts to contact Channel 2 chairman Ken Stratton were unsuccessful Wednesday.
One of the directors, Mike Brook, had earlier resigned as chairman and director of Channel 2 TV.
