METGASCO ENTERS INTO AGREEMENT TO SUPPLY GAS TO BP REFINERY.
MELBOURNE, Dec 3 Asia Pulse -Australian coal seam gas explorer Metgasco Ltd (ASX:MEL) has entered into an agreement to supply gas to BP Australia Pty Ltd's Bulwer Island refinery in Queensland.
Metgasco plans to conduct a feasibility study into the supply of over 15 petajoules of gas to the refinery per year.
"We are very pleased to be working with BP, a company that has a reputation for investing in the development of infrastructure required to secure Australia's energy future," Metgasco managing director David Johnson said.
The coal seam gas will be supplied from Metgasco's Clarence Moreton basin operations.
