MUMBAI, Dec 3 Asia Pulse - Market regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) Friday confirmed its earlier ban order against Ahmedabad-based Himani Patel, who was involved in the IPO scam that hit the stock market in 2003-05.
The regulator in its interim order in April 2006 had "directed various key operators including Himani Patel not to buy, sell or deal in the securities market including in IPOs, directly or indirectly till further directions".
