1 Spritz clean, straight hair with a small dose of lightweight shine spray. Hold the nozzle six inches away from the head and mist the crown and lengths. 2 Run a paddle brush from roots to ends so the product is evenly distributed through hair. 3 Brush hair directly back off the face -- don't create a part. Gather hair in a low ponytail at the nape of

the neck and secure with a snag-free elastic band. 4 Separate a small chunk of hair from the underside of the ponytail. Coat the entire hair section with a pea-size dot of pomade, then wrap it firmly around the elastic band. Secure the ends underneath the ponytail with

a bobby pin that matches your hair color. 5 Divide the remaining tail into three equal sections. Mist one with a fine hair spray, wrap it around a

curling iron with a one-inch barrel, hold for 15 seconds, then unroll. Repeat with the other two sections. 6 When all three sections are curled and have had a few minutes to cool, wrap the entire ponytail around three fingers to create one uniform coil. Mist with hair spray to ensure that the curl has staying power.
