Wittenberg University OH is the latest school to make SAT and ACT scores optional in the admissions process, joining the list of more than 750 accredited, degree-granting "test-optional" schools.

"The test-optional movement is nearing a 'critical mass,'" said Robert Schaeffer, public education director of the National Center for Fair & Open Testing (FairTest). "Each college that eliminates its entrance exams stimulates several more to reexamine their requirements."
