Last issue we reviewed The Smithereens' Meet the Smithereens!, a recreation of the seminal Meet the Beatles! What I failed to mention-as Smithereens drummer Dennis Diken makes abundantly clear in the liner notes--is that The Smithereens recreated the Capitol album that ravaged the colonies to the tune of 3.6 million copies in two months!
