New York will continue its public space recycling pilot program after releasing some interesting, and rather frank, results.
In order to boost recycling from commuters and pedestrians, the New York Department of Sanitation set out several collection containers in parks throughout the city's five boroughs and the Staten Island Ferry's two terminals in March to see how effective a public space recycling program would be.
