Germany: Building boom - Germany is continuing to bolster its C&I infrastructure nationwide.
BERLIN
The capital continues to develop rapidly. The Haus der Kulturen der Welt (House of World Cultures), a gift from the US in the 1950s, has been completely renovated for its 50th anniversary. It is now open with a variety of spaces, including an 880m2 exhibition hall. Another new convention venue in Berlin, the O2 World or Anschutz Arena, will be ready by September 2008. This pounds 100m multifunctional hall will offer 17,000 seats for sport events, concerts and congresses.
