Sometimes an idea is just too big to express easily, and so it has always been with Energy and Power Management and before that Energy User News. In recognition that this truism applies to Energy and Power Management, BNP Media has decided to launch two new publications, where once there was one. I don't expect you all to be happy with this decision; change, after all, can be wrenching, and Energy User News was a groundbreaking title from the 1970s to the current time. Ahead of its time in many ways, it was.
John Fetters, long-time columnist and board member says it best, "To the many readers who have taken time to write and say that we have made their jobs easier (even those who wanted free consulting), thanks for reading."
It is their involvement that made Energy and Power Management and Energy User News unique.
Still, BNP Media's decision to launch two new publications, Sustainable Facility and Mission Critical, beginning in October represents our confidence that both the green and mission critical fields deserve their own publications.
