Karachi, Nov 1 Asia Pulse - Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), keeping abreast with the latest technological changes has announced the formal launch of a specialized automated Revenue Management System (RMS) to manage fares offered to customers on all its domestic and international routes.
This follows RMS successful trial in June 2007 at number of stations. It links varying fare levels to available seat capacity of aircraft in accordance with assessed demand, benefiting both customers and PIA.
Those who previously received only one standard fare for travelling class of choice can now plan travel well in advance and purchase tickets at greatly discounted rates.
