ROME, Nov 1 Asia Pulse - Iran and Italy held a one-day economic seminar in Rome on Tuesday with an aim of introducing opportunities for expansion of mutual economic cooperation.
In the seminar, Iranian Ambassador to Italy Abolfazl Zohrehvand addressed a group of more than 70 Italian businessmen and industrialists, pointing to the satisfactory political and economic ties between the two nations.
He noted that Iran enjoys appropriate potentials for foreign investment.
The country is one of the biggest economies in the Middle East with 15 neighboring states which are in need of industrial, technical and tourism cooperation.
