NEW DELHI, Nov 1 Asia Pulse - India's Dodsal Resources has bagged an oil and gas exploration block in Tanzania.

"Dodsal Hydrocarbons and Power (Tanzania) Pvt Ltd (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dodsal Resources) has signed a Production Sharing Agreement with Ministry of Energy and Minerals and Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation for exploration of oil and gas for the RUVU block which is approximately 15,300 square kilometres towards the Eastern part of Tanzania," a company statement said here.

Dodsal Resources is a new thrust for Dodsal Group in the energy sector for exploration of not only oil and gas but also of mining of metals and minerals.

The group, which moved its headquarters from Mumbai in 2003 to Dubai, is a global multinational with a range of activities in the Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) in the energy sector. It is also engaged ...
