BRIEF: Warriors capture first league title.
Oct. 31--APPLE VALLEY -- The Apple Valley Christian boys volleyball team won the regularseason Inland Coast League title on Tuesday with a 25-19, 25-21 and 25-19 victory over Woodcrest Christian.
"It's huge," AVC coach John Richart said. "Our gym was packed. Everyone at the school knows what a powerhouse (Woodcrest) is, and everyone knows what a huge win it was for us."
It was the first league title in the history of the program, Richart said. Woodcrest Christian had been the dominant force in the ICL for years.
