Oct. 30--PRATTVILLE -- Wednesday, downtown Prattville will again be invaded by tiny ghosts, pirates and superheroes when the 21st Annual Candy Walk gets underway.

The event is open to toddlers through second graders and is sponsored by downtown business owners and the city of Prattville. More than 2,500 costumed youngsters walked up and down West Main Street last year.

"This is probably one of our most popular events," said DiDi Henry, special events coordinator for the city. "It seems to get bigger each year."
