Last fall I purchased the VR3 wireless backup camera featured in the May issue. I then bought a second one and gave another as a Christmas gift. Even though we were extremely cautious when cleaning them, the lens in all three easily scratched over the winter with road grime, salt, and sand. The view is now like having cataracts, rendering the cameras useless. I would only recommend them in the sunshine states.
