Oct. 26--NW Guilford 3, Mount Tabor 1: Northwest Guilford won the fourth game 25-22 last night, defeating Mount Tabor in the third round of the NCHSAA Class 4-A playoffs in Greensboro.

Northwest took a 2-0 lead, winning the first game 25-19 and the second 25-18. Mount Tabor (24-2) won the third game 25-21.

Northwest Guilford (30-3) will play Charlotte Myers Park in Saturday's quarterfinals.

Raleigh Charter 3, Bishop McGuinness 2: Raleigh Charter won the fifth game 15-8, defeating visiting Bishop McGuinness in the third round of the NCHSAA Class 1-A volleyball playoffs.
