With potential competition from Ohio State University, the University of Cincinnati extended President Nancy Zimpher's contract with the school to 2012.

Her new contract comes with a $380,164 annual salary, a house, a $15,000 car, an entertainment budget, and an annual 15-30% bonus, as well as the usual benefits for healthcare, retirement, disability and vacations. It also assures her husband a non-tenure track faculty position.
