Princeton University announced a new package of benefits in April designed to help families in grad school.

It may exceed any other package offered by grad schools and hopes to let grad students know that having children while pursuing a PhD is a realistic option. Princeton's plan was developed partially in response to a dearth of female applicants applying for their assistant professor positions, despite an increase in women earning PhDs.
