Not surprisingly, one of the strategies to narrow the collegiate gender achievement gap may be to have men turn off the video games and hit the books as intensely as their female counterparts do.

A recent study found that while incoming female and male freshmen had the same high expectations for earning a degree, male students enter college with less ambitious intellectual interests and worse study habits than the females. No wonder they are only 43% of undergrads nationwide.
