Finding quality childcare is one of today's most pressing problems for campus women. Many campuses lack programs; those offering them often have long waiting lists.

Faced with the challenge of providing accessible childcare on the Yale University CT campus, two campus units joined forces to develop programs to help ease the caregiving responsibilities of women on campus.

At the College and University Work/Family Association (CUWFA) conference in Santa Barbara CA in February, the leaders of both programs explained how their strategic partnership succeeded.
