CBS cancelled Don Imus' radio show and NBC cancelled his MSNBC television show after his sexist and racist remarks about the women's basketball team at Rutgers University NJ.

The day after the team lost in the NCAA Final Four championship game, Imus referred to the team as "nappy-headed hos." His executive producer also called them "jigaboos" and "wannabes."

With a history of such comments, Imus repeatedly apologized to the team, but public reaction to his outrageous remarks led eight sponsors to pull their advertising from his show, including Staples, Sprint, ...
