"The world of architecture is still a major, major boys' club, it's an uphill battle still for women," asserted Martha Schwartz, an adjunct associate professor at Harvard University MA who accused its Graduate School of Design of bias in failing to tenure women.

Schwartz, who is currently on leave to establish a new London office for her landscape firm that is based in Cambridge MA, wrote a resignation letter to interim President Derek Bok citing gender inequities.
