Online Retailer Raises over $500,000 for Breast Cancer Research with Pick Pink Boutique and Social Media Community
DENVER, Oct. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- eBags.com is a leader among online retailers as it embraces the power of Web 2.0 technology to raise awareness and enable customers to help fight breast cancer. eBags launched an original breast cancer awareness tribute video, which can be viewed on the eBags.com home page, as well as YouTube.com.
The company produced the video to express eBags' commitment to finding a cure for breast cancer, as well as to capture and share the sentiment that eBags experienced as a company team and sponsor of the 15th Annual Denver Komen Race for the Cure.
Since July 2004, eBags.com has donated over $500,000 towards breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment. The company empowers customers to help fight breast cancer by donating 10 percent of the retail price of each purchased pink product.
eBags' Pick Pinkonline boutique provides over 1,000 pink products. Products range from designer handbags, luggage, backpacks and unique items like the Limited Edition Skooba(R) Luxe Satchel bag, developed exclusively to celebrate the 25th year Anniversary of The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation (http://www.komen.org/).
eBags invites customers to do more than shop, as it increases its online community and hosts social media avenues allowing community members to:
