Louisiana State University's former women's basketball coach is seeking $800,000 from the school, alleging that her abrupt resignation in March was forced.
According to Pokey Chatman's attorney, Mary Olive Pierson, LSU never discussed allegations of misconduct with former players before scheduling a "surprise" meeting that forced Chatman's resignation. Chatman should be able to rescind her termination because it was made under duress and she received false information when making her decision, Pierson said.
