Although Harvard President-elect Drew Faust doesn't take office until July 1, the historic choice of Faust as the school's first female president is already having effects.
Harvard's VP for alumni relations and development, Donella Rapier, will depart after the current academic year. "President Faust would like to hire her own," said Rapier, "and I completely respect that."
