When dealing with data security, it's easy to get lost in the many rules and regulations that determine whether your company is compliant or not. Luckily, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has offered the following tips on how best to comply with the legal requirements of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. In addition to reducing a company's security risks, these guidelines are designed to illustrate that a company cares about its customers' personal data, which increases customer confidence and supports an all around better business relationship.
