To better serve nursing mothers, transgendered students and Muslim students, the University of British Columbia will be renovating 391 restrooms on campus.
"I hope it says that we want to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all students," said Janet Mee, UBC director of access and diversity. "It's an issue of safety, but also one of dignity."
