Girls who participated in high schools sports are more likely to finish college, according to a study done by professors at Brigham Young University UT and West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
Analyzing data from 5,103 women collected as part of a U.S. Department of Education study, researchers found that women who played a sport in high school were 73% more likely to earn a bachelor's degree within six years of finishing high school than those who did not play a sport.
