Volumes 1-9 (1992-2002) of Beethoven Search Premier and Gale Group's Expanded Academic ASAP and InfoTrac OneFile. Volume 10, number 1 (Spring 2003) issues onward are available online to individual and institutional print subscribers via the University of Illinois Web site. This online archive will include future issues of the journal as they are published. Non-subscribers can access the table of contents and article abstracts only.

JSTOR has announced a new JSTOR/ARTstor search prototype allowing users to cross-search article content, images from JSTOR articles and ARTstor articles simultaneously. JSTOR article image thumbnails along with image captions appear in the search results. If your institution is an ARTstor participant, you will also see ARTstor image thumbnails in your results and be able to click to view the full-sized image and metadata. Search results are organized into three different tabs (articles, images from JSTOR articles and ARTstor items) so users can easily limit results. The ARTstor Charter Collection currently contains nearly 500,000 images; this new functionality could be particularly useful for those researching musical iconography or cultural contexts.
