N.C. Pride weekend to include rally, parties and a parade.

Sep. 27--The annual N.C. Pride weekend will be held from Friday through Sunday. Most of the activities will be in Durham, Chapel Hill and Raleigh, but there will be a Pride Glow Party at 10 p.m. Friday at Warehouse 29 in Greensboro.

The highlights of the weekend will be the festival, rally and parade on Saturday, including a keynote speech by state Sen. Ellie Kinnaird and a performance by Randy Jones of the Village People.

5-8:30 p.m. Pride Coffee and Desserts at Cafe Driade in Chapel Hill.
